AliExpress Design team is the bridge between the International New Retail business and the customers, providing end-to-end user experience design solutions with a brand identity for both sellers and buyers to meet business/product goals. We work very closely with Alibaba's global partner companies, having constant collaboration with cross-functional teams, such as product managers, marketing, and tech team to ensure simple, creative, and useful products that customers will engage and enjoy1. Sensitive to the way a brand unfolds across design mediums, including online and retail marketing communication and digital media. Manage creative direction and execution for marketing and operation initiatives for AliExpress.2. Create new style conventions that unify the brands with solid creative visions across all mediums for tech products. Create world-class, beautiful visuals that support and reinforce business objectives; partner with the AliExpress business/marketing teams to ensure that designs meet business objectives.3. Present to senior management, influencing business, and creative decisions and direction. Understand and respond to performance data (metric tests, usability studies), and influence the direction of future creative designs
1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in design/retail/advertising/marketing. A remarkable portfolio that demonstrates an ability to turn ideas into a strong creative vision and great user-centered design solutions and systems.2. Excellent concepting, creative development, and design skills. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills and the ability to gracefully defend your design decisions to executive management.3. Demonstrated business acumen and customer-centricity, and a proven ability to work cross-team and synthesize feedback and input from merchants, marketers, copywriters, and product teams.4. Be agile, passionate, and proactive. Regularly push yourself out of your comfort. Expertise in understanding the trends in standard-category brands.
