The Siri team is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong automation background, to help build the next generation of tools for the qualification of Siri. A driven and dedicated Software Engineer in Test responsible for testing and ensuring the quality of Siri across all supported platforms and languages. You’ll be working directly with the best software engineers in the industry and you will responsible for ensuring the quality of Siri for Apple customers around the world.

Key Qualifications
- Passion for quality, attention to detail and user experience
- Extensive experience writing code in Swift and Objective-C
- Experience with XCTest and XCUITest
- Experience developing various forms of software tests such as unit, functional, performance, or stress tests
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies and QA processes
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with Bash, Python, JavaScript or similar scripting language
Description
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for testing the currently shipping and newly developed features, interfaces, and applications using automation. In this position, you will work closely with Apple's world class software engineers, quality engineers, project mangers and localization engineers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creating tools and complex automation solutions for the qualification of Siri components; including AI components, client and server components, performance and reliability.
- Designing and creating effective UIX flows to enhance the productivity of tools and teams involved.
- Interfacing with, re-using ad updating current automation solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy of our testing solutions.
- Providing managers and project managers with timely and accurate QA metrics, including progress during tools implementations phases.
Education & Experience
BS or MS in CS/CE or equivalent experience
