We're currently looking for a Technical Lead / Supply Chain developer to run projects and maintenance activities in Business Service Delivery Madrid team. This team ensures that corporate application are aligned with Thales DIS user needs, quality expectations and up to date in a high challenging and moving environment.

In this context, the team is looking for a Technical Leader to improve overall technical seniority of the team, help to understand/explain/solve complex technical topics or issues and provide technical (programming/architecture) guidance when requested. Our Technical Leader will be working in an international environment, in cooperation with the Solution Architect Team.

The mission will be to:

  • Contribute on a daily basis to technical activities within the team.
  • Make technical decision (implementation/programming).
  • Propose technical solutions and guidance regarding programming and software architecture.
  • Ensure integration of proposed solution within IS/IT architecture.
  • Identifying best practices or standards in a constant mindset of continuous improvement.
  • Supervise design and code.
  • Ensure overall security by promoting secure by design pattern, and making sure all new developments follow security guidances.
  • Promote tools to automate test (Unit, Integration, Functional, Static Code),
  • To succeed at this job, you must have the following skills:

  • Experience working with Product Management Tools: JIRA, Azure DEVOPS, TFS or GITLAB
  • CI/CD knowledge: Jenkins, Azure DEVOPS, TFS or Bamboo
  • Source control: GIT or MERCURIAL with GITFLOW or GITLAB FLOW
  • Infrastructure Knowledge: Windows servers, Linux
  • Cloud Knowledge: Azure, AWS or GCP with IAAS, CAAS & PAAS level
  • Databases: Oracle & SQL Server with associated management tools
  • Integration Standard: Web Services, JSON
  • ETL Integration Tool: SSIS, ODI or TALEND
  • Strong IT security knowledge
  • Programming Languages: Java or C#, Bash/Shell/PowerShell, JavaScript/HTML & CSS or vue.js
  • Very good English level (at least C1)
  • Knowledge of Oracle SOA would be valued.
