The Regional Information Security Officer (RISO) implements the global information security requirements and specifies/expands them based on regional information security requirements without being contradictory to the global requirements. The RISO is the CISO’s first contact regarding all security topics within the GEA’s region and responsible for all information security topics within the region.

Sus responsabilidades y tareas:

  • Monitors regional information security requirements
  • Performs local information security reviews and audits
  • Is responsible for handling regional information security incidents
  • Can functionally instruct the Local Information Security Officer (LISO)
  • Receives continuous reporting from the LISOs
  • Manages security business key functions for the implementation of a risk-based approach to protecting information assets
  • Establishes and maintain key relationships, collaborations and partnerships to advance cybersecurity objectives with Business Engagement counterparts, IT and regional business leadership with special focus on identification and protection of critical assets, related to the region
  • Collaborates with local/global (security) management to ensure all security related controls and measures are implemented, managed, controlled and reported
  • Performs vulnerability management related tasks
  • Collaborates with local/regional management to ensure all security related controls and measures are implemented, managed, controlled and reported
  • Drives capability and innovation for existing and new security business topics for the respective area of responsibility
  • Identifies applicability of security business needs within the region, especially with regards to trends and risks
  • Ensures identification and collection of local and country security demands of country and regional business partners and security business partners
  • Monitors, manages and reports security business performance targets for area of responsibility, aligned with regional and overall security strategy performance metrics
  • Participates and direct the security incident handling process in accordance with assigned role during the declaration of a security incident
  • Responsible for reporting security incidents in accordance with the security incident handling process
  • Collaborates with local production site management regarding product security and relation and drive integration with Information Security.
  • Su perfil y calificaciones:

  • Bachler or master’s degree in information technology / Computer Science / Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or a related technical discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in leading position related to Cyber- or Information Security
  • Information security Certifications advantageous (CISSP: Certified Information Systems Security Professional, CISM: Certified Information Security Manager, ISMS Lead Implementor, ISMS Lead Auditor, additional in accreditation of a certification body)
  • IT (Security) Certifications advantageous (e.g. ITIL: Information Technology Infrastructure Library, COBIT: Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology, CISA: Certified Information Systems Auditor)
  • Very well knowledge of (cyber) security technologies and methods (threat landscapes, models, standards)
  • In-depth know-how in management-systems, audits, dealing with audit-findings
  • Experience in system and network design
  • Experience in O365 and Azure Security
  • Knowing security standards such as ISO, PCI, HIPAA and SOX
  • Experience in multivendor Management and dealing with multiple suppliers
  • Strong interpersonal skills in communication and collaboration
  • Negotiation skills at different levels (customers, suppliers)
  • Strong communication skills, in English, local language is a plus
  • Strong analytical ability, business acumen, problem solving skills
  • Capabilities, in financial & Budget ownership
