Ihre Aufgaben
This Team Lead position is located at our Toledo, OH location on the night shift. Our Team Leads coordinate and monitor the activities of a work group within a warehouse facility, provide on-the-job training as needed, and ensure completion of work while complying with all company quality and safety processes.
Must lead by example, be organized, and practice good housekeeping and safety at all times Report any accidents or incidents that occur within the facility immediately to a supervisor Responsible for the coordination of shift start activities Ensure appropriate tools and materials are available and distributed to the team Provide on the job training for any new work instructions when applicable Assign specific jobs to each team member and monitor execution Submit end of shift report to Supervisor covering daily shift activities Provide input to Supervisor or Manager regarding performance of individual team members Report any policy or procedure violations to Supervisor or Manager Participate, support, and comply with all health and safety initiatives and requirements Perform cycle counts as required Investigate inventory discrepancies Participate in physical inventories as needed Investigate and recommend solutions to inventory related issues Assist in other departments and with special projects as needed Perform Process audits as assigned Other duties as assigned
Ihr Profil
Minimum of 1 year experience in a warehouse environment Prior leadership experience with 2 years supervisory experience preferred Proficiency using the computer, especially with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook Ability to communicate, verbally and in writing, in a knowledgeable, clear and positive manner 1 year experience driving forklift; preferred A high school diploma or equivalent Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time Ability to work with minimal supervision Ability to follow instructions and follow through with assigned tasks Ability to communicate procedures and instruct others in a clear and precise manner Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently The above is intended to describe the general content of and requirement for the performance of this job.
