Description
Keywords Studios Spain SLU, a Keywords Group company, provides international media localization, translation, voice recording, and international content creation services through its team of localization specialists.
The Lead Audio Engineer will manage the Audio Engineering team, ensure they work in an efficient way and help define the strategy of the department in line with the Audio Manager.
Duties & Responsabilities
Team Management:
Manage, support and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Audio Engineering team. Set team and individual Goals Give regular performance feedback. Provide leadership to the team and mentoring to all Audio Engineers members in recording and postproduction tasks. Manage the relationship with freelance Audio Engineers. Processes:
Encourage the team to create and introduce new processes, which will allow the department to be more efficient during their work. Ensure the technical experience & knowledge is shared inside the team. Support the Audio Engineer Coordinator with studio and engineer scheduling to satisfy both recordings and postproduction needs. Collaborate with the other Audio Leads to set project priorities, take on urgent tasks and discuss feedback.
Requirements
Wide technical experience in audio recording and postproduction. Good communication and leadership skills. Global vision of the audio localization process. Ability to anticipate problems and opportunities, and define solutions for them. Basic business management and negotiation skills.
