The Role

We are looking for an experienced .Net Architect who has a highly competitive and entrepreneurial mindset that is wired with a team-first attitude, has no problem rolling up their sleeves to execute their missions, and can modulate between leading and following as needed.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive the design, documentation, and implementation of new software systems initiatives
  • Reduce the existing coupling between services in the current environment by progressively transforming the information silos and monolithic applications into microservices
  • Identify and track dependencies between components and processes in the current complex environment in order to mitigate the impact of changes
  • Data analysis and modelling
  • Define or provide input into data policies such as retention, security, resilience and migration
  • Define and manage the overall technical solution covering both functional and nonfunctional requirements
  • Ensure the end to end design meets the technology operating model and delivers a production strength solution
  • Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers
  • Research, prototype and evangelize new technologies and solutions and communicate them verbally and via written document
  • What You’ll Bring

  • Educated to degree level from a numerate discipline (preferably Computer Science)
  • Solid experience in software development, preferably using Agile methodologies
  • Extensive expertise in MSSQL/MySQL and other relational database, as well as data modelling, both logical and physical
  • Deep knowledge of .NET related technologies
  • Familiar with Microservices, API Management, Cloud Native applications (experience with Kubernetes and Istio is a plus)
  • Familiar with Continuous Integration/Delivery/Deployment tools and methodologies: GIT, ProGet, Jenkins, SonarQube, Docker, and others
  • Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Kafka, Spark, NoSQL, Hive, and others
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS, JavaScript and UI/UX design
  • Comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, application, and systems engineering
  • Professional proficiency in English & ability to communicate clearly technical designs and objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to:

  • Clearly and professionally present information to large groups of people in person and via tele-presence
  • Systems thinking - the ability to see how parts interact with the whole (Systems thinking big picture thinking)
  • Lead other and work effectively as part of a team
  • Interpersonal and leadership skills - servant leadership, collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills
