About the Role:

Reporting to Global Director - Due Diligence and Managed Services. Stakeholders will include Sales, Data Strategy research teams, Product teams, Finance, Operations and Marketing. The role will be market facing, with significant interaction with our clients. You will develop a strong understanding of the current and future needs of the market, the capabilities needed to grow, and our position in relation to our competitors.

The Managed Services Market Specialist will be focus on key accounts, supporting our Sales teams with relationship development as well as building relationships directly. The role will also be responsible for the execution of initiatives to improve the market proposition and supporting improvements in our effectiveness.

You Will:

  • Collaborate on the development of and execution of strategies and plans for business growth.
  • Support Sales teams around the world with training, pre-sales support, relationship development and other business development activities.

  • Support marketing initiatives including creation of collateral, thought leadership and involvement in events.

  • Understand the clients’ needs and identify improvements to the product, output or process to benefit clients.

  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify and implement improvements to process, technology, risk management and other areas of the business to deliver increased quality and effectiveness.

  • Track and report on pipeline, performance, costs and risks.

  • You Have:

  • Experience working with a range of clients directly on Screening and third party risk projects. You will have demonstrated the ability to manage demanding clients, understand their needs and propose solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Experience of improving a screening product, output or process to benefit clients. You will have good knowledge of the market and be able to determine how Dow Jones services can be improved and positioned. You will have demonstrated the ability to adapt a product or service to changing needs.

  • Ability to demonstrate experience of good project management to achieve results in matrix organisational structures. You will demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and the adoption of appropriate technology.

  • Ability to demonstrate a good understanding of the drivers of cost, quality and risk within the managed services business and you may have had experience growing screening services within your organisation.

  • Experience of working in or with financial crime or other compliance teams to conduct customer or third party screening projects or programmes. You will have worked either in a consulting role, or in the compliance function of a financial institution or large corporate for a minimum of four years. Roles will include client facing roles as well as research.

  • A solid understanding of (and possibly qualifications in relation to) the sanctions, AML, and anti-corruption regulatory environment.

  • Familiarity with a range of technologies available for screening and/or remediation projects.

  • Demonstrated a flexibility to be able to work across multiple time zones and business cultures. You will be innovative - so as to spot and take opportunities and identify possibilities for change. You will be assertive - to manage different stakeholders in a complex organisational structure. You will be excited and energised by the opportunity to drive growth.
