As part of the strategy team, you will leverage your experience in management consulting or prior corporate/business strategy role to influence the strategic direction of a multi-billion dollar business. You will lead and participate in evaluating the sources for growth for HP 3D Printing and Industrial Graphics businesses, assessing expansion opportunities, including potential M&As, leading key strategic efforts and aligning the organization on key priorities, ensuring we have the right strategies to successfully achieve its financial commitments. Responsibilities:
Leads and support pan-HP Industrial initiatives spanning growth strategy and operational excellence based on analysis of industry trends, competitive threats, expansion opportunities and internal performance
Work closely with senior executives in developing portfolio and business strategy
Identifies research, tools, and analyses required to achieve objectives for large, complex business strategy projects
Support Business teams in translating strategy into Business Unit operational plans
Help craft communication of PIB's portfolio and business strategy to various stakeholders (Employees, Corporate, Board, Investors)
Work and lead in a team environment both within the HP Industrial strategy team and with business unit partners/customers
Deliver analytically rigorous and data-driven insights that help executives make strategic decisions and drive business prioritization
Research, analyze and recommend actions that directly contribute to project outcomes
Bring excellent financial acumen with the ability to "connect the dots" between business strategy/initiatives, operational plans and financial performance
Serve as a proven facilitator and communicator to support groups at all levels through complex problems with confidence and clarity
Education and Experience Required:
Typically 8-12 years total experience
Often 4-7 years post- advanced degree experience leading projects, deals, and company financial improvement initiatives in management consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, or market research
Advanced university degree (e.g., MBA) or demonstrable equivalent
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong strategy experience in technology companies
Excellent analytical thinking, analysis, and problem solving skills
Ability to communicate abstract ideas clearly and independently manage complex project objectives
Superior analytical skills and financial modeling capabilities
Strong leadership skills, including coaching, team-building, conflict resolution, and management.
Ability to identify and draw on leading-edge analytical tools and techniques to develop creative approaches and new insights to client issues.
Ability to independently draft and present client deliverables, recommendations, and communications strategies.
Exceptional project management skills (must have owned workstreams in the production of critical project deliverables)
Demonstrable success in delivering results in a cross-functional team setting
Ability to handle ambiguity and unstructured work situations
Superior communications (written/verbal), presentation and facilitation skills
Demonstrated ability to shape and influence ideas/actions of others; team player who supports and leads peers and executives through logical reasoning and relationship development
Strong knowledge of technology industry
