The HP in-house media team (Ziji by HP) is responsible for planning, buying and maintaining programmatic and biddable ad campaigns in multiple DSPs, and Social platforms. Ziji is expanding to Europe in 2020, and HP is looking for entrepreneurially minded candidates to be part of this new team. You will utilize your expertise in data-driven advertising to ensure HP’s advertising objectives are met while maintaining a balance of performance and efficiency. 

Responsibilities:  

  • Work closely with marketing teams across the various business units, to translate media briefs into tactical plans for paid social execution, ensuring that we maintain alignment with the overall media strategy and business objectives.

  • Plan and execute media buy across our key paid social platforms, including but not limited to; Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snap and TikTok. Ensuring HP’s advertising is as effective as possible.
  • Navigate and feel comfortable using consumer and commercial datasets for determining targeting sets for paid social campaigns.
  • Continuously measure and optimise campaign performance, while also establishing benchmarks and recommending future tests.
  • Support in the implementation of paid social best practice, with the goal of driving HP’s business forward through innovative social activity.
  • Work with the reporting and insights team to prepare and deliver regular reporting on paid social performance to business units, ensuring business performance benchmarks are met.
  • Oversee 1 associate buyer who will support you on activity (for trafficking and pacing of paid social campaigns etc.).
  • Help build this brand-new team inside the largest producer of printers and PCs in the world.

Requirements:  

  • Approximately 3+ years of experience in a media agency or similar environment.
  • Working knowledge of the key paid social platforms, and comfort launching and running campaigns at scale.
  • Experience working within ad servers is a must. Experience working with web debugging tools is desired.
  • Knowledge of the social advertising workflow, measurement, optimisation, and testing methods.   
  • Previous experience working with large brands/budgets and managing projects of scale.
  • Innovative thinker and collaborative team player.
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
  • Bachelor's degree.
