The Digital Engineering Team belongs to the MNC Presales Area. The responsability of the Area is to support the rest of the presales team and the comercial team on the presales tasks related to digital services.
Responsible Technology Consultant projects of Cloud and Data Center Services of Telefónica for MNC customers
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES:
• Support on the design and implementation of the commercial strategy to boost the sales and revenues for Telefónica Cloud and Data Center Services.
• To collaborate with Global and Local Marketing in the definition and execution of commercial plans and market communication activities, always providing technical knowledge.
• Responsible for meeting all appropriate KPIs and business objectives, while supporting the sales team with both technical and sales capabilities.
• To work with multinational and complex sales teams to support the commercial processes in a consulting approach, with focus on the client technical needs and taking part in technical solution definition.
• To gather most of the technical knowledge from a presales perspective, sharing and training the commercial support team with technical knowledge.
• To efficiently manage client demands and expectations from a technical point of view.
• To proactively coordinate with other Telefónica Cloud and Data Center Services departments (such as product development and technical) to ensure the client demands are met.
• To build and maintain relationships with all appropriate areas and business functions, being the main interlocutor with product and technical areas within Telefónica Cloud and Data Center Services global units.
• To balance commercial and technical considerations, and assess business risks.
• To collaborate with marketing and product teams to prepare quality product training sessions for local sales, presales and engineering teams in Telefónica Digital Services, while supporting with technical background.
Computer Sciece Degree, Telecommunications Degree or equivalent.
NATURE OF PROBLEMS &CHALLENGES:
The main challenges of the position are:
• Experience in similar positions and proven track record at delivering complex solution sales at the highest levels.
• Good technical background on Cloud and Data Center Services, Segurity Services and/or Internet of Things Services.
• Experience dealing and managing global solution for multinational companies with global coverage.
• Experience working in a professional corporate environment, B2B and B2B2C sector with good knowledge of the telecom market.
• Professional and confident in manner, and possessing both technical and communication skills, demonstrating the ability to deal effectively with customers, peers and others.
• Influencing and negotiating skills with the sales force
• Excellent written skills with a good understanding of effective Bid writing
• Possess excellent time and priority management skills. A proven record of the ability to manage multiple complex opportunities at the same time.
• Capacity to engage people from the business, and at all levels, to drive executable and worthwhile activity.
• Innovative and creative throughout the sales process. A desire to find solutions to problems and meet all customers’ requirements whilst understanding the commitment to deliver all that is confirmed in a bid response.
• Presentation skills – A confident and professional approach to building presentations and delivering to a senior level audience.
• High quality and detail oriented person.
Experience on designing and quoting of public, hybrid and private networks and Data Center Services.
Experience on migration/transformation projects.
Experience in similar positions and proven track record at delivering complex solution sales at the highest levels.
Experience dealing and managing global solution for multinational companies with global coverage
English and Spanish: Excellent verbal and written
