We are growing our Global Financial Services business and require a GFS Account Manager in Spain, focusing on helping global financial institutions adopt and benefit from the full spectrum of AWS cloud platform and solutions.
If you are passionate about the cloud and have the skills, the GFS Sales, Account Manager role provides the opportunity to sell business-transforming solutions to impact companies within the global financial services market and shape the future of cloud computing. As a GFS Sales Account Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to shape the transformation of our customers and help them to innovate at speed by building on AWS.
You will work closely with Global Account Managers along the cloud journey of your customers and drive growth and market penetration in specific territories. To support your outbound activities, we will use multi-modal, targeted campaigns, to help you identify new customer sales opportunities. Once engaged with a customer or prospect, you will successfully understand customer business issues by using your excellent listening and communication skills, demonstrate how these issues can be solved and show the unique benefits of solving them with AWS services.
Your primary responsibilities will include using intelligent prospecting persistence to identify, create and qualify opportunities, then work with Global Account Managers to ensure the opportunity is understood and next steps are clearly defined. Once qualified, you will use an opportunity management processes to ensure that opportunities are handed shape and developed in a timely, customer friendly manner. You will also work hand-in-hand on selected top opportunities together with the Global Account Team to lead opportunity closure by staying customer obsessed and thinking long-term. Your success will be measured by achievement of individual activity and opportunity creation goals.

· Help to drive growth in a defined territory of Global Financial Services located in Spain.
· Articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services with customer obsession and long-term thinking in mind.
· On-board customers and accelerate customer adoption.
· Work with Global Account Managers closely to ensure success of the territories
· Help to shape the strategic account plans and to execute initiatives from C-Levels to IT architects and SW developers
· Ensure customer satisfaction
· Expect limited travel
· Strong work ethic and organizational skills
· Strong verbal and written communications skills in English and Spanish
· Prior experience in the IT sales, account management or consulting business
· Experience in dealing with complex enterprise customers
· Target-oriented individual with proven sales experience and a proven track record of over-achievements
· Ability to hold conversation on executive levels and developer levels as a trusted advisor
· BA/BS degree
· SaaS/Cloud experience
· Challenger mindset
· A technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS
