Have you ever thought about the shifting paradigm of how customers find, buy, and use enterprise software? Would you like to help Independent Software Vendors (ISV) transform their businesses? AWS Marketplace is fundamentally changing how software is discovered, procured and deployed and we are looking for talented individuals to join the AWS Marketplace Demand Generation EMEA team based in Madrid to engage with AWS Marketplace new and prospective customers in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
Marketplace Demand Generation is a critical function within the lead and demand generation process, with its mission to profile, nurture and qualify leads generated from various events, campaigns and activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Build a stronger AWS Marketplace leads database by tele-profiling and researching existing AWS leads to create a detailed view of the customer’s need for cloud technology and the sales opportunity.
· Nurture leads with information/campaigns to increase their understanding of AWS services and unique differentiators with relevant customer use cases.
· Move leads from warm or little interest to active interest; education to consideration.
· Through nurture efforts, create higher value leads resulting in higher conversion rates.
· Work closely with stakeholders to achieve campaign goals.
· Become familiar with our ISV seller community and act as a point of contact to our partner sales reps and our AWS sales team during joint prospecting efforts.
· Work closely with our ISV seller community to nurture jointly captured leads and perform occasional call blitzes to identify new meetings and opportunities.
· Fluent in French and English
· Experience in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional organization - high-tech products/services preferred.
· Previous experience with solution selling, cloud experience.
· Clear, concise, and confident communicator in-person and via phone.
· Must have ability to listen to customers, understand needs, and ask clarifying/probing questions.
· Ability to think logically and structure answers.
· Excellent written communication.
· Ability to deal with ambiguity.
· Proven success managing time and juggling multiple projects in a high growth environment where priorities shift fast.
· A technical background in engineering, computer science or MIS is a plus.
· In-depth knowledge and understanding of existing and developing technologies as it relates to cloud computing: understand and identify opportunities for customers.
· Advanced Salesforce.com experience including the development of dashboards and reports, programing experience.
· Record of success in an outbound sales or prospecting role in B2B environments, preferably in a solution-sales/ technology-related environment.
· Familiarity in French-speaking markets.
