This role sits within RSA Security, part of Dell Technologies. RSA Business-Driven Security™ solutions help customers comprehensively and rapidly link security incidents with business context, enabling them to respond effectively and protect what matters most. Our award-winning solutions for threat detection and response, identity and access assurance, consumer fraud protection, and business risk management help RSA customers thrive in an uncertain, high-risk world.

Key Responsibilities:

This role is responsible for providing presales consultancy for RSA, working closely with the account manager to help meet revenue, customer satisfaction requirements & develop customer understanding of the RSA portfolio. The SE owns the technology relationships and provides technology thought leadership in the security market. They are responsible for the execution of all technical interaction of the customer engagements, acting as a security evangelist, with a clear technical architectural & sales execution plan. 

To support the sales organization the successful candidate will provide support for product demonstrations, technical discussions, RFI, RFP, partner training, knowledge transfer, and general information security best practices. The SE will provide architectural designs, best practices, technical explanations and integration support. The SE will also be the key person articulating RSA solutions within the Dell Technologies ecosystem and engaging with the wider Dell Technologies presales teams. You'll also:

  • Maintain a forward looking technical plan for the accounts.
  • Jointly develop a multi-year well qualified pipeline with the account manager which is visible in SFDC.
  • Drive growth in all aspects of the RSA portfolio offering.
  • Drive the technical presales process and act as a technical resource for the Sales team.
  • Deliver technical presentations to audiences of up to 100 people.

Essential Requirements:

  • Ideally 7+ year’s professional experience as part of an enterprise software company, including 5+ years of hands-on field sales support, software consulting, pre-sales engineer or similar experience
  • Experienced with either Threat Detection and Response or SIEM solutions is highly desirable
  • Experienced with either Identity and Access Management/Governance solutions and related Domains is highly desirable
  • CISSP or similar certification is highly desirable
  • Team player, with a genuine collaborative attitude and willing to inspire others
  • Ability to solve technical problems independently
  • Takes immediate action to overcome obstacles
  • Persuasive in front of customers

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience in the following is advantageous, but not a pre-requisite
    • SOC : Advanced Security Operations Centers and related context, process and procedures able to cope with the evolving threat landscape
    • GRC : Governance Risk and Compliance Problem Space Knowledge
    • Multi-Factor and Risk-Based Authentication other than Identity Governance and Identity Lifecycle processes knowledge
    • Fraud Management solutions for e-Commerce and Financial Institutions
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
