The increasing pace of product development is driving a disruption agenda that is allowing organisations across all segments to compete on an even playing field. The race to shape the future is now. Amazon Web Services (AWS) is one of the drivers of this progress on behalf of our customers. We are looking for executive leadership talent who want to help shape this exciting time in a brand new function built from scratch. AWS is building out a remote sales function to drive growth across a target of AWS’ largest, most complex and sophisticated existing customers, as well as the highest priority acquisition targets in all segments from Startup to Enterprise.
In this role, the teams you build will be aligned to a target set of prospects/customers and will work closely with the Area and segment leadership teams to build a plan to execute on the Area, segment and account priorities.
As senior leader, you will build and lead a diverse set of world class sales managers responsible for teams who are growing consumption of current and new AWS services across a number of company segments and EMEA geographies. This is a leader of leaders’ role.
The ideal candidate will be an accomplished sales and business development executive who has demonstrable experience delivering through others while staying closely connected to the front line by remaining detail oriented and data driven. You will manage career growth and development of your team, coach the team on performance, sales plan and strategy. You will work closely with leadership across Solution Architecture, BD, Sales and Marketing to evolve the approach and optimize performance.

REQUISITOS BÁSICOS

· Significant technology related sales or business development experience with quota accountability
· Significant sales management experience leading a team
· Experience leading large, multinational teams in a Leader of leader capacity
· Demonstrable record of people development


REQUISITOS DESEADOS

· Experience and confidence working with a matrixed team of senior stakeholders and executive teams to achieve a common goal
· Experience using data and trends to build insight and articulate business needs
· Knowledge and understanding of existing and developing technologies as it relates to cloud computing; understand and identify opportunities for customers
