At Allianz, we are looking for a J2EE Developer in order to join our Spanish headquarters based in Barcelona centre (Sants).

Allianz Technology is the internal IT provider of the Allianz Group. Within the Life, Health &HR office, you will participate in developing the strategic plan for life and asset management of our firm, designing and coding our technical solutions.

Reporting directly to the Head of Architecture, this position is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, multinational environment with a strong focus on best practices. The job requires proper communication and alignment with all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carries the functional and technical analysis of our new and ongoing projects under both Scrum and DevOps approaches.
• Develops the software solutions for life, health and HR areas including peer to peer code reviews and validation of outsourced projects.
• Performs end-to-end unit testing using Junit and ensures that the production deadlines are met.

• Our schedule is from Monday to Thursday from 8-10h to 17-19h and on Fridays from 8-10h to 14-16h. Moreover, from June 25^th till September 15^th we enforce Friday’s reduced schedule.

Key Requirements:

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, Physics, Mathematics or a similar qualification.
• Fluency in English (min. B2/FCE), proficiency in Spanish is mandatory (min. C1).
• At least 4 years of experience as Java Analyst/Developer.
• FullStack profile: J2EE, Spring, Angular and REST desired.
• Proficiency in the following tools: Eclipse, Postman/Soap, UI /Swagger, GIT, Maven, Jira.
• Experience in functional analysis for life insurances will be a high plus.
