YOUR ROLE
The In-Country Manager is the crucial operational role within our program. It is a varied role that offers the chance to make a significant mark on each of our participants' experience. You will manage all pre-arrival comms with the intern and oversee the in-country experience working in conjunction with the team in Spain. You will also work in the social aspect of the program, working to develop strong relationships, an intern community and delivering the cultural and professional development elements of our program. You will build strong relationships, manage complaints and provide a first-class duty of care for all participants in a fun and professional environment.This flexibility will allow this role to have the maximum impact on our participant experience and make sure that our processes and expectation management are aligned from start to finish. From online communication, delivering webinars, running our professional development, complaint management, event management to in-person communication - this role will be crucial for the performance of each local program.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accountable for participant experience and communication pre-arrival and in-country
- Close communication and collaboration with our visa team to ensure the successful arrival of participants.
- Management of orientation weekends
- Management and execution exit interviews and feedback strategies in local program.
- The central point of contact for all local participants from start to finish.
- Complaint handling and resolution.
- Delivery of all program events and meet-ups
- Social Media management & online community.
- Emergencies and 24/7 support for interns on the ground
YOUR SKILLS/ ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Must be fluent in English and Spanish
Strong Communication skills, both in person and digital communications
- People management skills
- A strong people focus and customer service, with empathy and care for participants
- First Class organisational skills and the ability to multitask
- Operational expertise and event management and planning
- An eye for process and quality assurance
- A fun and positive personality
- Creativity to curate amazing experiences
- Reliability and professionalism at all times
- MUST HAVE PERMISSION TO WORK IN SPAIN
