DESCRIPCIÓN

Amazon is hiring a Procurement Project Manager to join the EU Launch Procurement team.


You’ll be responsible for providing leadership, management, coordination, and direction to the launch procurement team delivering projects as part of the launch program. As Procurement Project Manager, you are responsible for providing expert guidance, support and coaching to launch procurement specialists and analysts. The role is seen as a strategic driver for excellence, striving to drive best practice and standardize approaches for project execution and governance. You will be an experienced procurement or project/program management professional, with experience of using industry standard methodologies to take the lead on documenting project management processes, procedures, software tools and techniques. The role has line management responsibility for two Procurement Analysts.

Responsibilities
· Define standards and procedures for launch procurement project management
· Track and report project progress and performance, identify risks, issues and manage mitigation plans when necessary
· Provide guidance, coaching and technical support to launch procurement specialists to embed use of best practice processes
· Advise on development of plans and use of software tools
· Report project performance against Management Information (MI)
· Set up reporting and communication channels with business stakeholders
· Establish constructive working relationships quickly with senior stakeholders and build a climate of trust
· Assuring governance and quality of the launch procurement program
· Monitoring and controlling
· Resource management
· Risk and issue management
· Stakeholder management and leadership
· Strategic alignment of program to achieve organizational objectives
· Manage delivery and performance of the launch procurement SME program
· Manage Procurement Analysts to support launch procurement project delivery


Travel Requirement


Up to 30% within UK & EU

REQUISITOS BÁSICOS

· Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years’ relevant experience
· 5 years’ minimum professional experience in Procurement, Project or Program management
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel
· Very strong communication skills
· Possess the ability to manage multiple, simultaneous transformational projects requiring frequent communication, organization, time management and problem-solving skills
· Root cause analysis and complex problem solving skills
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Proven track record of cultivating strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
· Influencing and negotiation skills
· Analytical skills
· High motivation to learn, develop and perform in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
· Strong at project management
· Experience with metrics creation and data presentation

REQUISITOS DESEADOS

· Previous line management responsibility
· Wide range of experience in strategic sourcing methodologies, category management and supplier performance management
· Project management qualification such as PRINCE2 Foundation or Practitioner
· Advanced analytical skills
