Store Operations Project Managers always put customers in center of all their actions!
As H&M Store Operations Project Manager you are responsible to set, together with the Store Operations Manager, the strategy for Store Operations in line with country goals to maximize sales and profitability in your market. You will be part of the Store Operations department and work hand in hand with the sales team to support and coach the Area and Store teams on Store Operations processes and routines as well as managing global and local projects to create the best shopping and working experience in fashion retail.
Project Management responsibilities:
Organize projects from start to finish, including evaluation phase, planning phase and roll-out phase
Research all matters regarding the projects assigned and presents findings and recommendations on the direction of the project and work in close partnership with the Store operations Manager on the progression of the project.
Work cross functionally to determine all local project stakeholders & steering group members and ensure they remain informed and involved from start to finish
Ensure all key decision points and project milestones are executed according to plan
Perform and inform of risk analysis throughout all stages of the projects and adjust project planning as necessary.
Apply the Project Management process to ensure each project is brought to completion in a successful way, including a clear handover plan once the project is closed
Keep up-to-date and spread the knowledge at all levels of the organization of both new and existing Store Operations processes, routines and tools to ensure Store Operations is considered in all business decisions
Regular (planned and non-planned) store visits with Area Teams and Store Operations Manager to follow-up and assess project implementation and the level of store operations and work together to find solutions if opportunities are identified
Ensure training for Area, Store & Support Office teams on how to work with Store Operations, including workshops on implementation and maintenance of best practices & new store operations routines and identify training needs together with HR and Area teams and develop & update the existing ones.
Minimum experience of one year in project management, ideally in the retail or IT sectors.
Sharp analytical skills and able to combine that with practical store knowledge.
Self-motivated and solution-oriented attitude, always striving for innovation.
Ability to communicate effectively & efficiently throughout the organization, locally & globally
Being passionate about learning and development
Ability to motivate and educate individuals & groups
Having the ambition to develop and accept new challenges
Strong planning and organizational skills
Ability to lead and manage projects & new initiatives
Good PowerPoint and Excel skills.
Professionally proficient in English and Spanish (oral & written). Portuguese is a plus.

The position is based in Barcelona and involves travelling around Spain & Portugal.
