At Allianz, we are looking for some Java Support Engineers in order to join our newly established Branch, based in Barcelona centre.

Allianz Technology is the internal IT provider of the Allianz Group. Our eCommerce department, with headquarters in France (St. Ouen), provides end-to-end eCommerce solutions for our internal business organization Allianz Partners.

We provide solutions for direct sales (B2C) and integrated solutions for partners (B2B2C) as well agency solutions (B2B) all over the world.

Within the Ecommerce Delivery team, based in Barcelona but working closely to our offices in France (Paris), this is an exciting job opportunity to contribute in the shaping of the eCommerce and work in a fast-paced, multinational environment with a strong focus on best practices. The job requires proper communication and alignment with all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end resolution of the incidents (qualification, prioritization, follow-up) using Java 8 and Spring under a microservices architecture as well as Jenkins for CI and Junit for unit testing.
• Application production: ensure the backlog of bugs & defects is stable, and reporting on incidents.
• Continuous improvement and industrialization of the activity, e.g. through implementation of tools.
• Identify recurring incidents-bugs-defects, propose corrective actions and follow the associated action plans.
• Participate in escalations/issues related to RUN (production incidents, urgent change requests…).
• Pushing the business teams to align on ticket priorities and releases scope; and ensure that 20% of application spends are dedicated to Maintenance (bug fix, change requests, small enhancements).
• Communicate with the business (D&D) and the BU’s being the entry point for all RUN topics.

• Our schedule is from Monday to Thursday from 8-10h to 17-18h and on Fridays from 8-10h to 14-16h. Moreover, from June 25 ^th till September 15^th we have Friday’s reduced schedule.

• University degree or equivalent education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar qualification.
• Full proficiency in English (min. 780-TOEIC/ B2-FCE), French and/or Spanish is a plus.
• Willingness to travel a little: It is required to spend at least 1 week every 3 months in business trips to Paris.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience working closely with Java (8 preferably but not restricted to). Senior profiles are welcome as well.
