Job Description

IQVIA™ is the leading human data science company focused on helping healthcare clients find unparalleled insights and better solutions for patients. Formed through the merger of IMS Health and Quintiles, IQVIA offers a broad range of solutions that harness the power of healthcare data, domain expertise, transformative technology, and advanced analytics to drive healthcare forward.

As an experienced Clinical Research Associate, you could be looking to broaden your therapeutic, international or study exposure. Or perhaps you are looking a future beyond monitoring within our vast selection of possibilities to take your next career steps. At IQVIA, you’ll have training and development to plan and progress your career in the direction you choose; we do not believe in a ‘career ceiling.’

As a Senior CRA you will run global projects on a variety of therapeutic areas and study phases. Working with our award-winning, cutting-edge technology, you’ll be building a smart and flexible career while receiving structured quarterly reviews on performance, promotion and bonus awards.

We have roles available in our Core Clinical Department, where you will have the opportunity to embed yourself in the wider clinical operations team; and in the CFSP unit, our single sponsor dedicated model.

While projects vary, your typical responsibilities might include:

  • Performing site selection, initiation, monitoring and close-out visits, plus maintaining appropriate documentation
  • Supporting the development of a subject recruitment plan
  • Establishing regular lines of communication plus administering protocol and related study training to assigned sites
  • Evaluating the quality and integrity of site practices – escalating quality issues as appropriate
  • If appropriate, co-monitoring, training and mentoring of junior members in the team

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in life science or other scientific discipline or educational equivalent
  • At least four years of on-site monitoring experience
  • Full proficiency of Spanish and English

What We Offer

  • We invest in keeping our teams stable, so workload is consistent
  • We offer genuine career development opportunities for those who want to grow at IQVIA!
  • The chance to work on cutting edge medicines right at the forefront of new medicines development
  • Next generation of clinical development: IQVIA has access to vast data pools and best-in-class technology, improving site performance and making the CRA role more efficient.
  • Location flexibility: you can work either from our Madrid or Barcelona office or remotely from home (different locations in Spain)
