Busines analyst - HP Store Operations en Sant Cugat del Vallès

HP Shopping EMEA is the direct e-commerce motion to serve end users and SMB via web or Tele-sales. This is a fast-growing business, deployed in 8 countries in EMEA.

The fulfilment model is managed through preferred partners, stocking products for us or enabling leveraged stock for HP Shopping sellout. In order to optimize availability, which is the key trigger for next day delivery SLA, a full business planning team is managing end to end processes to ensure max availability on “must-have” products, prevent any stock disruption and ensure that products appear in the storefront at the appropriate time with the correct quantities. This involves working closely with cross functional teams to accurately forecast trends, plan stock levels and monitor performance.

The BA will support the operational functions by analyzing the business domain and document its processes, assessing the business model and its integration with technology. He or she will help guiding businesses in improving processes through data analysis and automation.

Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Process Engineering

  • Design and document new processes.
  • Perform root cause analysis and suggest process improvements to process owners.
  • Standardize HP Store Operations workflows.
  • Maintain Process Repository up to date and accessible to all team members.

2. Support Business Automation

  • Support Business to optimize processes by automating forecasting and planning processes.
  • Drive the development and improvement of new or existing operational tools and reports.
  • Automate current forecasting tools and support the definition and design for new auto-replenishment models.

3. Data Analysis

  • Be an active member of Operations Data Quality Management Program by ensuring data quality and consistency.
  • Support SMEs/ Business Project Managers during project implementation by measuring and providing data metrics to identify project deviations.
  • Be the focal point of contact for business for analytical support.

Key Skills

  • Problem solving abilities and Project Management Technics (Lean Six Sigma, Agile, PMI.. is a plus)
  • Strong data minded and Business Analysis skills
  • Cross functional operations knowledge
  • Understanding of forecasting & planning – associated tools, methods, processes, data collection & analysis requirements
  • Team player with an ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Core Skills

  • Strong SQL knowledge
  • Excellent Analytical Skills and knowledge of MS Excel
  • Fluent in English, any other European language is a plus.
  • Good communication skills
