Quality Assurance Production Engineer en Sant Cugat del Vallès

Working in the HP MJF 3D additive manufacturing technology, as a quality assurance production engineer, your responsibilities will be to ensure that the parts produced in the plant are compliant with the HP standards and that the necessary processes to manufacture them are optimized from a quality point of view. 

• Define and implement a strategy that guarantees that the production is optimized and follows the quality standard, guidelines and best practises.
• Planning, organizing, directing and running optimum day-to-day operations to ensure that the strategy is followed, and goals are met.
• Increase quality standards and minimizing yield loss and unnecessary costs related to quality issues.
• Responsible for production quality output and reporting of KPI quality metrics.

• The quality assurance production engineer will monitor all daily operations of the plant from production and manufacturing to ensuring that the quality procedures are followed and that the standards are met. Moreover, will propose improvements and metrics to track and evaluate processes and productivity from a quality point of view.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and establish the quality strategy and ensure that it’s followed in the day-to-day processes
• Define and monitor quality metrics and propose improvements to increase the KPI results while minimizing yield loss and cycle time due to quality issues.
• Be responsible for 3d Additive Manufacturing with HP MJF printers for production quality outputs.
• Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results
• Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus
• Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions
• Commit to plant safety procedures
• Develop systems and processes to monitor, evaluate and ensure quality in the processes
• Influence and learn from below
• Stay up to date with latest quality best practices and concepts

Requirements:

• Proven work experience in a quality role
• Adequate knowledge of quality methodologies and metrics used in the industry business (analysis tools, quality evaluation, metrics reporting)
• Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise
• Computer literacy
• Ability to create accountability and to lead by example
• Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills
• BS degree in Engineering
