Amazon’s InTech Translation Services Team provides human quality translations to 55 teams across Amazon and accounted for the post editing of machine translated product content of 30 Million products in 2018.

Amazon is looking for a smart, team-oriented, highly articulate entrepreneurial leader to join as Head of the Amazon Freelance Translations Organization. Your core leadership role will be in these three main areas:

(1)End-to-End Ownership of Operations from incoming requests and capacity management to content deliver at the right quality and the contracted SLA, controlling and reporting of invoicing, budget and payment. In order to do so, you manage several teams of program specialists and partner account managers who are responsible for several thousands of linguist freelancers


(2)Customer and Supplier facing improvements: You will be responsible for continuously improving content, productivity and turn around times.
Your measures of success will be in customer retention, customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction, supplier retention and cost efficiency amongst others.


(3)Future Growth Design: You will own the design for a better customer experience through technological improvements. You work with technical product managers, engineering teams and engineering leaders to identify, validate, prioritize the right technological features to offer an excellent and cost effectively scalable Freelance Translation solution.

· Extensive experience managing business teams and operational teams in multiple locations
· Strategic thinker with attention to detail
· Ability to extract and analyze data to make product decisions coupled with excellent communication skills
· Experience building and developing diverse talented teams
· Passionate about creating the best customer experience
· Language Requirement: English
