The Junior Software Developer Internship will work side-by-side with our wild team full of seasoned professionals, software architects, software developers, and analysts to design, develop and unit test software to fulfill the requirements of Zemobile.
The Junior Software Developer will act in a variety of roles to learn the full spectrum of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in a professional setting, acting as business and systems analysts, developers, designers, QA analysts and testers, database administrators and more, all with the mentorship and tutelage of seasoned professionals in every area. If you have the desire and aptitude to learn new tools and techniques in a fast-paced environment, Zemobile is the place for you. You will learn to lead the industry by applying innovative, cutting-edge technology to solve complex problems with a technology agnostic posture. You should be at ease working in a collaborative team environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Ultimately, you will learn and contribute in all phases of the software development life cycle, from design to deployment as well as:
- Write effective and scalable code in Ruby and React.
- Build back-end components for web applications.
- Test applications for performance, responsiveness and security.
- Review and debug junior developers' code.
- Integrate data storage and data processing solutions.
- Build, install and share gems and plugins.
- Create automated test scripts.
- Improve and maintain applications after deployment.
- Coordinate with team members who work on different layers of infrastructure.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Even that it's not necessary to have experience working as a Ruby or React Developer, we are still looking for a junior professional to teach and grow up together who would be familiar with:
- Ruby on Rails.
- PostgreSQL.
- Haml.
- Sass.
- Reactjs.
- Nodejs.
- Docker.
- AWS (Elastic Beanstalk).
- Payment Gateways (Stripe, Allied Wallet, Paypal, Redsys, etc...).
