AREA DESCRIPTION

Mobile Platforms Planning brings together the PLANNING for all Mobile Platforms - mainly Signalling Carriers, Signalling VAS, Roaming and GRX VAS but also the CAPEX INVESTMENT for Mobile, we are also responsible of the DEPLOYMENT of all Mobile Platforms and we handle all the INTERCONNECTIONS and the ENGINEERING (work orders). Our goal is to have all our platforms in perfect shape in terms of capacity and connectivity for the needs of our clients and our operations.

Also collaboration with our Design & Technology area with the IoT related developments and validations.

MISSION

Area responsible for Planning, Interconnections, Onboardings and Engineering (work orders) for the Mobile Platforms.

Mobile Platforms new services development and technology (PDS & VO - Operational Validations)

RESPONSIBILITIES

He/She will be responsible for:

• Onboarding of new customers to the existing services. (Main Duty)
• Planning, Provision and Change Management (work orders) for the platforms centralizing Telefónica group and external clients international signalling. (TEKELEC/ORACLE STPs , ORACLE DRAs and those to be added to improve the service).
• Planning, Provision and Change Management (work orders) for the VAS platforms (TOMIA SoR+WSMS, MobileUm RBS/VHE, TANGO MCM, Affirmed GGSN/PGW, Allot Optimizer and those to be added to improve the service).
• Provide technical support and improvement plans/actions to the mobile operators of the Telefónica group.
• Usage and capacity report generation and analysis.
• Maintenance and update of the plant and services inventory.
• Deployment, expansion and upgrade project management.
• Platform connectivity management.
• Interconnections follow-up and reporting.

Develop the proposal of international IoT, including the addition of new vertical platforms to be managed by TIWS
Gather the information and ellaborate the answers to the IoT related VOs - Operational Validations

EDUCATION

Telecomunnications Engineering or similar.

SKILLS

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

Roaming and International Signalling: SIGTRAN, DIAMETER, GTP. Roaming VAS. DNS. IPX and ipsec.
IoT, managed IoT platforms
Programming (Python), 5G protocols and Cloud Architectures (AWS/Azure) a plus

EDUCATION

2 years experience in Roaming and/or IoT related services at Planning, Engineering, Product or Technology roles (Mandatory)

LANGUAGES

Fluent Spanish and English (Mandatory)
Portuguese adn German (Optional)
