What will be your key tasks/challenges?

• Defining and securing technology and rollout strategy for Radio & Transport Network → Define network strategic plans and guidance for the short, medium and longterm
• Implement, lead and guide innovation plan and related actions within Radio & Transport areas → Secure readiness for the future within Industry
• Defining, selecting and introducing the technologies for Radio Access and Transport Backhaul Networks → Securing state-of-the-art technologies in efficient manner
• Strategic planning for Radio Access Networks as well as Transport Mobile Backhaul → Defining and steering proper rollout strategy
• Designing, optimizing and improving performance of Radio Access Network and Transport Backhaul Network → Securing customer experience on Access Network
• Decision making on selection of service providers for Implementation & Rollout services → Securing best decisions for rollout efficiency vs. available budget and strategic priorities
• Owning and managing/steering Radio Access, Transport and Implementation services budget (~550m€ CAPEX+OPEX) → Maximizing outcome of economical resources

What do you bring?

• University degree in electrical engineering or telecommunication engineering
• Experience gained in different management positions in more than one area within network areas
• Experience in dealing with NT vendors
• Experience in definition of technical strategy, architecture and planning.
• Minimum 5 years leadership experience and proven track record as NT leader
• Technical knowledge of mobile access and backhauling
• Deep knowledge about NT strategy and execution levers for Radio and Transport
• Sound market know how and inside view on future trends
• Innovative thinker with strong motivation to change
• Being a change catalyzer
• Push invent and simplify approaches
• Strong networking and influencing skills
• Fluent in English, German language skills as an advantage
