Amazon is leading the next paradigm shift in computing and is building a team of world class business development professionals to establish relationships and manage the success of our emerging Technology and Consulting partners within the AWS business EMEA markets.
As the Manager of the team, you will work with partner and account management team stakeholders to lead a team of Partner Development Representatives in a high-volume, results driven environment. Your success is measured by building a team that attains activity-based metrics and qualifies new partner prospects to meet goals. To ensure the team's success you will: monitor calls to improve qualification, meet/exceed response times, identify training opportunities, build reports and dashboards to monitor activities and pipeline, and make recommendations on process improvements. In addition, you will become a subject matter expert in cloud computing solution areas and impart this knowledge to the team.
As a Manager, Growth Partners, you will have the exciting opportunity to generate awareness and adoption of the AWS cloud computing platform including Amazon S3, Amazon EC2, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon RDS, Amazon Cloud Front, Amazon Cloud Search and Amazon Market Place.

Roles & Responsibilities:
· Manage team to attain daily activity metrics of partner outreach, decision maker contacts, partner progression
· Develop the reps into candidates for future partner development positions
· Train team on deep profiling skills
· Proactively identify best practices to facilitate partner adoption and manage incoming partner requests (SIs, Resellers, MSPs, SaaS, ISV partners, etc.)
· Understand the technical and training requirements of our partners, and work closely with the internal AWS product teams to guide the direction of future products.
· Maintain a robust partner prospect pipeline.
· Help develop and implement a EMEA strategy for AWS to work with a large number of partners in an efficient way
· Work with scaling partners such as Distributors and next generation partner serving high number of partners
· Develop and implement a low touch model for Partners to operate independently or with minimal support from AWS PDR’s or scaling partners
· Work in close collaboration with the Sales teams
· Working experience with CRM systems, data warehousing and other analytic tools to establish detailed metrics for tracking purposes.
· Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· The right person will possess significant Partner management or business development experience in the software/technology industry.
· Strong team management experience; managing high performing inside Partner / Channel teams of 10 or more
· Consistently exceeds quota and key performance metrics.
· Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross functional audiences.
· Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
· Effective coaching and people management skills with a focus on associate development
· Understanding of Partner business strategy; how this strategy can be pivoted and the unique benefits of solving them with AWS services.
· Worked with a matrixed team of stakeholders to achieve common goals
· Demonstrated ability to improve outbound efficiency and productivity metrics
· Demonstrable technical depth
· Salesforce.com experience; pipeline reporting, activity reports/dashboards creation
· Success mentoring and building a results driven, high-volume outreach team
· Fluent in English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Degree qualified, or equivalent
· 2nd European language
