DESCRIPTION

The goal of Amazon Logistics is to build a world class last mile operation. Amazon aims to exceed the expectations of our customers by ensuring that their orders are delivered as quickly, accurately, and in the most cost effective way as possible. This role is based our of our Luxembourg corporate office and is for an experienced, passionate, dynamic, analytical, innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed Program Manager. The person has a strong delivery record and leadership experience to own and execute strategic, cross-functional projects. As a S&OP Analyst you will help Amazon Logistics manage, improve, and optimize the way parcels are shipped from our fulfilment centres and delivered to our customers. This role will oversees the coordination and administration of all aspects of an on-going program including volume planning, software designing and driving process improvements across various stakeholders from Fulfillment centers, Amazon Middle Mile services, and delivery station operational teams. The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, and enjoying working with large scale of data.
Key responsibilities but not limited to would be
· Build strategic plans to fulfill customer demand at the cheapest and in a cost efficient way.
· Drive last mile forecasting accuracy working with local in country planning and operational teams.
· Provide actionable insights into current delivery performance and improvements avenues.
· Lead the end to end planning for key events like Prime day or other initiatives and peak.
· Support the expansion of the network, new locations from analyzing where we expand to how fast.
· Drive standardization of tools and processes to build scalable execution plans with operations team.
· As part of EU planning standardization team, lead the tools adoption and share best practices.
· Work with business teams to define requirements and high-level process/system solutions.
· Manage the timelines for all teams to support project launches.
· Drive volume planning accuracy for weekly / daily station scheduling, working with local in country planning and operational teams.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred qualifications
· Preferred masters in Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems or related field.
· 5+ years of relevant work experience in a role requiring application of analytic skills to integrate data into operational planning.
· Working knowledge of SQL / ETL and visualization tools like tableau.
· An ability and interest to work in a fast-paced and rapidly-changing environment.
· Recent experience in project management, handling multiple priorities, and working with varied stakeholders.
· Customer focus and professional demeanour.
· A work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations.
· Interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills.
