Amazon is looking for an innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed Senior Recruiter to join our professional recruiting organization. The successful candidate will lead recruiting for senior leadership in the Consumer organization and play a pivotal role in identifying, sourcing and attracting senior talent to Amazon.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Substantial hands-on recruiting experience a customer facing role, either in an agency or in-house
· Skilled at partnering with hiring managers in diverse locations to build effective sourcing strategies and relationships
· Experience generating candidates through complex Boolean searches, user groups, professional and social networking, candidate referrals, networking, web sourcing and ATS
· Experience working with job boards, CV databases and internet search tools including LinkedIn
· Demonstrated customer facing skills, focussed on providing an excellent candidate experience
· Highly adaptable and flexible, with an ability to juggle multiple business priorities under pressure
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills and effective influencing skills
· Excellent negotiation skills and professional presence
· Able to work efficiently and accurately to meet tight deadlines
· Good bachelor's degree (2:1 min)
· Fluency in English is required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience of working within Retail, Operations or e-commerce (corporate, buying, planning or strategy functions) or of hiring at mid-senior level for Retail, FMCG, e-commerce, consulting or other professional services sector clients
· Experience working in a matrix and with managers in the US as well as EU desired
· An agency background is highly advantageous; we would also prefer you to have some experience gained in house, or within an RPO environment.
