The Delivery Strategy Analyst will help us create and extract meaning from large volumes of data to make the right business decisions. The candidate will have to set the right vision, strategy and roadmap and work alongside with stakeholders in the organization to make it happen. The candidate knows and loves working with business intelligence tools, can model multidimensional datasets, and can partner with business leaders to answer key business questions. You are analytical and creative, and you don’t quit. You will also have the opportunity to display your skills in the following areas:

· Participate in strategic & tactical planning discussions.
. Define the delivery strategy by contrasting different models and simulations with large datasets
. Define proxy information, heuristics and algorithms for data that it is unknown today.
. Simplify and reduce the manual work by automating analysis through scripts and tools such as python and R.
. Gather and analyze information from live operations to identify opportunities to shape the delivery strategy and leverage those opportunities.
. Define parameters and success criteria for live tests to confirm/deny hypothesis in models.
· Design, implement, and support platforms that provide ad-hoc access to large datasets.
· Be connected and influential within the Amazon analyst community.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or other business/analytical discipline.
5+ years of relevant work experience in a business analyst/data analyst/statistical analysis role
Data modelling and definition of algorithms with software, scripts and/or techniques (Excel, Python, R, Machine Learning, Regression, Linear programming, DoE, etc)
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and analytical programs.
Advanced SQL skills (Redshift preferred)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

MBA, Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or other business/analytical field.
Experience working with datasets related to geospatial information (postcodes, area, density).
Experience in supply chain, network modelling and/or operations research is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with data visualization tools, e.g. Tableau
