DESCRIPTION

Amazon Web Services is growing its account managers’ team to help more companies make the move to AWS. As AWS scales this team, it is investing in an account managers’ development program to ensure that AWS continues to build a pipeline of new, valuable advisors to AWS customers. AWS is currently seeking an experienced professional to design and build this exciting new program from the ground up. If you are passionate about improving customer experience, cloud technologies and account managers’ development coaching, AWS could be the right fit for your next career move.

The Field Readiness and Development Manager will be responsible for raising the performance bar with every employee AWS hires or promotes. Account Managers that embody AWS leadership principles and have strong sales and technology backgrounds are difficult to find, recruit and develop. Therefore, recruiting and developing top talent is a key element of AWS ongoing success.
As the leader of this crucial new team and function, you will ideally work at AWS Spain Madrid office, initially supporting AWS EMEA account managers’ team. The Field Readiness and Development Manager will have the exciting opportunity to help build AWS account management penetration and development strategy, develop innovative recruiting methods to identify AWS next-generation of top-tier talent, and craft initial on-boarding plans and ongoing development plans that align with AWS customers’ adoption process in order to measure impacts and improvements on customer satisfaction, performance and retention. The ideal candidate will have experience in crafting a multi-year employee development program. Initially this leader would define and manage a career progression framework for early-in-career account managers and technical professionals to make them field ready. For optimal results you’ll enlist the help of AWS stakeholders in sales, training, human resources, recruiting and operations. Once that foundation is established, these best practices will be shared globally.
