Amazon Business's mission is to become the preferred destination for businesses to find and buy anything they need. We're a fast growing business that reached more than $10B in annualized revenue in our first 3 years. Amazon Business is transforming how business (from freelancers to large enterprises, from commercial to government institutions,...) do procurement.
We have a multinational product development team with tech hubs located across different sites in the world. We're now looking for a program manager to help us drive and coordinate our tech site in Madrid. We have a strong dev organization with multiple teams that will be supported by you.
You will be responsible for coordinating and driving all the cross organization activities to keep our team healthy:
· You'll partner with our recruiting team to coordinate our recruitment efforts. You'll participate in the hiring plans, coordinate schedules, coordinate our growth with our facilities team and lead our tech site branding and events management.
· You'll own our team's training plan and coordinate with other leaders the overall site strategy.
· You will also lead other programs in the org, such as our customer connections program, hackathons, or site leadership reviews.
· You'll monitor our org health and drive events and initiatives to remind us we not only "work hard and make history" but also "have fun"
This is a unique opportunity to participate and coordinate the site of a strong and diverse tech team.
· Self-driven and self-motivated. You will be the spearhead of our organization initiatives. We need you to be able to prioritize, handle ambiguous problems and be the morale Northstar of our team.
· Extensive experience of schedule management and arranging international travel and conference calls.
· Good computer skills, especially in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
· Good English communication both verbal and written. We have a multicultural team and US based leadership.
· Past Experience in coordinating other tech organizations.
· Past Experience in multi-team coordination for large enterprises.
