Casa Cook Ibiza is looking for an enthusiastic and qualified Assistant Executive Housekeeper who is jointly responsible for the cleanliness, orderliness and appearance of the entire hotel in line with Casa Cook standards.

Role: Assistant Executive Housekeeper

Location: Ibiza

full time; sesaonal contract till end of October 19

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Help in leading and developing a team of around 20 Chambermaids.
• Prepare daily briefings and coordination of cleaning plan.
• Supervising and ensuring that the cleaning staff work effectively with high quality.
• Responsible for the maintenance, management of all guestrooms, functions, public and back of house areas of the hotel including daily inspections.
• Help in maintaining par stock and organizing inventories of guest supplies, cleaning supplies, linen and uniforms.
• Monitor guest feedback, attend and resolve, report to Supervisor.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and repair with the maintenance department.
• Follow housekeeping systems and procedures.
• Participate in internal audits.
• Help develop and maintain the environmental work for the department with focus on areas such as environmentally friendly products, waste sorting and energy savings.
• Uphold sanitation rules, health and safety regulations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven work experience as an assistant executive housekeeper, preferably within a high-class international hotel.
• Experience of working with outsourced staff.
• Fluent Spanish, good knowledge in English, other language is an advantage.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Strong hands-on mentality.
