Repair & Maintenance Manager en Valencia - Ibiza

JOB PROFILE

Casa Cook Ibiza is looking for a qualified R&M Manager, who takes pride in the hotel’s appearance and ensure that the hotel premises are safe and functional for guests and employees alike. You will be responsible for all installations, renovations, repairs and maintenance of the hotel area, its garden and pools. You will be leading and developing the technical staff. The ultimate goal is to succeed in making each guest’s stay unique and increase customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of the preopening team, the R&M manager is responsible for actively supporting the GM in choosing the R&M staff, building up a complete R&M team, providing the new staff with trainings and setting up ways of working in alignment with the Casa Cook brand standard.

• Deliver a high quality and standard in the Repair and Maintenance area, in line with the Casa Cook standards.
• Managing cost control through planning and supervision of purchasing, labour costs, storage management, ensuring budgeted costs are met.
• Working with sustainability and find ways to reduce hotel operating costs, such as energy cost.
• Responsible for leading and developing the technical team, including daily briefings and meetings.
• Analyze results, make action plans and provide reports.
• Participate in internal and external audits.
• Participate in management meetings at the hotel and cooperate closely with the other departments at the hotel.
• Uphold routine maintenance, reduce risks, update emergency plans and follow fire and safety regulations.
• Organize repair, installation and renovation projects, with least disturbance to the guests.
• Apply best practices and be up to date with maintenance and environment trends.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven work experience in the Repair and Maintenance department; preferably in an international hotel environment.
• Experience in maintenance management, cost calculation, cost control and staff planning.
• Fluent English, good knowledge in Spanish, other language is an advantage.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge in electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
• Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
