As an AWS Account Manager in Europe, you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of Cloud technology in this geography reshaping the Telecom Industry while going through the digital transformation enabled by AWS platform. Your responsibilities will be completely focused on promoting the adoption of AWS Cloud services in a key European Telecom account.
The ideal candidate will have both an Account Management and technical background that enables to drive an engagement at the CXO level. He will be the orchestrator of the engagement plan together with software developers and IT/Network architects. He/she should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan and consistently deliver on quarterly targets.
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan
· Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services
· Create & maintain an opportunity pipeline and drive consistent account-specific activities
· Work with partners to extend reach & promote adoption
· Manage complex customer interactions
· Develop long-term strategic relationships with key customer stakeholders
· Ensure customer satisfaction
· Expect moderate travel
· Work as part of a global team

· Significant account management experience in the IT and Telco industry
· Excellent knowledge of the Telco industry
· Direct field experience in working with Enterprise and large customer accounts
· Strong verbal and written communications skills
· Fluent in Spanish and English

· MBA preferred
· A technical background in engineering, telecommunication or cloud technologies a plus
