Goal
The Application Administrator primary responsibilities are to achieve the key organizational goals of the service center through the efficient operation, testing and troubleshooting as well as develop additional modifications of the Warehouse Management System and Warehouse Control System.

WMS (Warehouse Management System) controls all the warehouse activities.
WCS (Warehouse Control System) controls the Material Handling Equipment in the Warehouse

Overview of Essential Responsibilities

• Daily maintenance and administration WMS / WCS: administration and manage menu's, options, approvals and user id's for WMS and WCS applications.
• Provide excellent customer service to operations with troubleshooting WMS/WCS: support for all WMS / WCS users with application and operational problems.
• Operating and Performance standards: develop and maintain operating and performance standards.
• Counsel/coaching/training end users: manage and Develop training for WMS and WCS end users.
• Projects and Modifications WMS / WCS: manage WMS and WCS projects and modifications parts of a project.
• Maintain program fixes WMS / WCS: maintain, test and implement application program fixes for WMS and WCS.
• Test work for WMS / WCS: manage test work and create test scripts for program fixes, modifications and functional changes for WMS and WCS.
• Process improvements and innovations WMS / WCS: manage and develop process improvements and innovations for WMS / WCS.
• Configuration Administration and Changes WMS / WCS: maintain administration for WMS and WCS system configuration. Use change control to manage the configuration changes.
• Manage documentation for WMS / WCS: build and maintain documents for WMS and WCS
• End user reporting WMS / WCS / MVS: develop end user reporting on WMS, WCS and MVS (Host).

Overview of Position Requirements
Technical Content Knowledge

• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Knowledge of MHE Control systems (WCS)
• Knowledge of current and future Warehouse Material Handling Equipment technologies (RF Technology, Sorter Technology and Print & Apply Technology)
• Knowledge of and lead process optimization efforts to ensure continuous productivity improvements on both a systems and individual basis
• Fluent oral and written communication in Dutch and English

Additional Qualifications (Education, Professional Qualifications and Experience)

• MBO+/HBO level in Information technology and experience in Logistics environment or MBO+/HBO level in Logistics and experience with Information technology
• WMS/WCS experience
• Query/SQL experience is beneficial
• Potential tot grow within the Information System department
• Enthusiastic, goal oriented team player with a service oriented attitude
