International and complex Transformation& Innovation auditor with focus on strategic change initiatives within INGBank

As a Transformation & Innovation (T&I) Auditor at CAS Bank, youwill conduct and coordinate project and innovation related audits within INGBank globally with focus on strategic transformation and innovation. This meansthat you are active at the heart strategic change of ING Bank. You will provideassurance whether the ING has sufficient (project management) controls in placeto ensure that project objectives can be met (e.g. is the project on track interms of time and cost) and that the project is delivering on promise. Inaddition, you will provide assurance whether the project output will result inan adequate control environment of the deliverables (e.g. are all relevantcontrols in place in the (designed) governance, operational processes and ITenvironments). The team is ambitious to be best-in-class in the field ofproject-, transformation and innovation auditing (including Fintechs). Besideshaving an important business relation, transformation related audits are often ITrelated and performed in close cooperation with business- and IT Auditors and relateto the latest (IT) developments within the bank. You will report your auditfindings correctly and systematically in audit reports, including suggestionsfor improvement and concrete recommendations that you will present to ING Bankmanagement.

As a T&I Auditor you will be based in Madrid and you will work in aninternational team (partly based in Amsterdam, Frankfurt and Madrid). The team ispart of CAS (Corporate Audit Services), which is a highly professionalorganisation with 400₊ staff members in a diverse international team,active around the world. Together with your Amsterdam/Madrid and Frankfurt basedcolleagues, you will support other audit teams in transformation/innovationauditing and thereby provide audit coverage on a variety of Business- and ITrelated project audits. We are looking for an T&I Auditor withexperience in project auditing/management and who feels comfortable in acomplex international environment with communicative skills

As T&I Auditor at CAS Bank, you will have in-depth knowledge andexperience with modern Project Management techniques (including Agile ProjectManagement). You use your strong analytical skills to identify the areas offocus within our global audit strategy and individual audits. You are naturallyproactive, critical and curious, and you search for missing information on yourown initiative. You like to work in an international environment and work onaudits abroad (>50% will be international assignments). You have strong verbal and writtencommunicative skills and interpersonal capabilities and able to share yourviews with (senior) management. Therefore, you are experienced to ask the rightquestions and get the right information, even when you have to overcomeresistance. You are accurate, creative in your solutions and you describeyourself as a team player who is capable of working in international teams, aswell as independently when the task at hand requires this. Also, you are keenon self-development and development of the team.  Furthermore, your background andexperience will include:

• Bachelor-/Master degree in Finance/IT/Business Administration andpreferably 4-6 years of experience (complex) programme management;
• Preferably 3 to 4 years’ hands-on working experience within an auditfunction, for instance, with another bank or within a larger audit- orconsultancy organisation;
• Preferably knowledge and experience in Project Management techniques(incl. Agile). This also includes strong knowledge base related to key project managementcontrols, like project governance, business case setup and project (financial)performance analysis;
• Working experience within international and complex organisations;
• Team-player with self awareness on strengths- and weaknesses and eagernessto develop yourself and the team;
• Strong ability to deal with complex and challenging business partnersand able to apply different communication and influence styles depending on thesituation;
• You are willing totravel abroad, depending on assignments.

Youare also fluent in English (required).
