International Presales Engineer UK - Telefónica On The Spot Services (CCDO / IoT) en MADRID, ES

onthespot has reached a commercial collaboration agreement with Telefónica's operator in the UK. This collaboration is underway, so we seek to incorporate a person who will be responsible for defining and implementing the operational model of sales and pre-sales, being a specialist support in Smart Retail for the Sales team UK (Enterprise Retail). It will also be responsible for the design and management of audiovisual projects in the pre-sale and installation phase. Its main function will be the realization of offers and defenses of the same ones, in order to be able to turn proposals into real sales.

Report / Organization: This position will report hierarchically to the Head of Presales Engineering and functionally to the Head of Business UK.

Key Functions / Responsibilities:

• Definition, together with the manager, of the sales and presale operating model

• Work closely, being a specialist Smart Retail support for the UK Sales team

• Understand customer 's  needs, collect technical / functional specifications and perform requirements

• Prepare technical offers (including the necessary information, such as cost calculations, time and resource estimates, scope definition)

• Present and defend the elaborated proposals, clarify doubts to the client, offer solutions and follow up (together with the commercial area).

• Elaborate the on site stakeouts together with the corresponding teams.

• Provide support to project implementation areas and others in order to find solutions to possible problems in implementation.

• Prepare documentation according to the methodology and processes defined in the area: minutes, reports, scope documents, schedules, budgets, economic proposals, task tracking, economic monitoring, planimetry, etc.

• Analyze, study and respond to specifications, RFP, RFQ, and others.

• Present project progress and results achieved

• Search for suppliers that can meet the needs of the projects, in a coordinated manner with the area of operations.

• Contact with suppliers related to the proposals: ask for offers, analyze them, request re-proposals.

• Negotiate response times, scope of service and costs with suppliers.
• Perform technological prospecting to be aware of new technologies that can add value to the offers made

Location: The position will be located in Madrid, Spain, but since the position is related to commercial management in the UK, the selected person must have plenty of availability for frequent international travel and short stays.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Engineer in telecommunications / industrial / computer systems or related. It will be valued to have a PMP degree, Agile methodologies, or similar

Technical Knowledge: 

• Suppliers, integrators and manufacturers of the Audiovisual sector, of Dynamic Marketing and in general of technologies in the point of sale
• Audiovisual systems and products at the level of: Audio and video processing, content management, dynamic marketing, management, distribution and switching of audio and video signals, turn management technologies, digital labeling, proximity marketing, lighting
• Identification of the different spaces and subsystems within a complex audiovisual installation 
• Communications systems and networks: Wintel Servers, MySQL, TCP/IP, IoT Technical Structures
• Different audio and video formats for both transport and storage
• Android, IOS or similar operating system.
• Databases 
• Basic knowledge of systems architectures
• Basic knowledge of telecommunications networks
• Management of technical tools applied to project management (Microsoft Project) and to the digitalization of plans and technical schemes (AutoCAD and Visio)

Expertise: + 3 years in similar positions, managing projects related to technology (preferentially, in dynamic marketing audiovisual projects or in project integration).
