Sales Development Representative en Barcelona

Incorporated in 2011, Catchoom is a private, VC-funded company and the first spin-off of Telefónica R&D. Catchoom offers visual search and automated product tagging solutions for retailers to make eCommerce operations more efficient by rich product descriptions, and enable better search and relevant recommendations within catalogs to boost conversion rates and enhance product discovery experiences. Working with leading global retailers in Fashion eCommerce, Catchoom has facilitated over 30,000 product categorizations to date. Customers include retailers like Privalia, the biggest marketplace in Southern Europe, and international brands like Scotch&Soda, among others.

Lo que vas a hacer

We are looking for a proactive and versatile person keen on learning and growing professionally. The internship requires working within our Growth Team and joining a highly dynamic, international startup environment with ambitious sales goals for 2019. The successful candidate will cover aspects of CRM, looking for and pitching sales prospects (including cold calling), and eventually assist in managing our customers globally.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Assist the sales and marketing team to identify, manage and trackoutbound sales leads.
  • Help out when pitching to outbound sales prospects.
  • Prospecting and calling to outbound prospects once they are contacted via outbound marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct ad hoc market and competitor analysis.
  • Maintain leads and opportunity data in Pardot and Salesforce up-to-date.
  • Convert leads into opportunities.

Requirements

  • You are interested in the unique challenges of selling technology products and getting hands-on experience in this field.
  • You are passionate about technology, especially about Fashion e-Commerce.
  • You are an organized, methodical, self-starter type of worker.
  • You're fluent in ENGLISH and have at least intermediate level of SPANISH.
  • You have studies in progress (or at least have the ability to do an internship agreement withtheschool) pursuingadegreeinBusiness Studies, Marketing, International Commerce or similar.

Further desired skills

  • Great Excel and Powerpoint skills.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com and/or Pardot (or at least the eagerness to learn using different sales software fast).
