TIWS is the international unit responsible for providing world class international services to the TEF Group and 3rd parties

The Network Technology area in TIWS is the technological group in Telefonica Business Solutions that design, articulate and manage the technological strategy of the International Backbone of Telefonica, align with the company's vision, taking advantage of current and future technological improvements, with a practical and economic sense, solving real problems, maximizing the quality of services offered in the short and long term and minimizing the cost of implementation and operation.

We are in the middle of a deep transformation in the International Backbone Network, where next generation devices, virtualization, SDN and Cognitive Network are the very next challenges.

TEAM:

The Network Technology team is made up of expert engineers around IP/MPLS networks, Internet peering services, DDoS services, etc. where they investigate, test and design the architecture of the international network.

Your Role:

Your role will be a Data Scientist, so you will deploy advance analytics around Network Data. Although Network Technology team has a strong knowledge in networks, we need someone who has experience to data models and advance analytics to search insight in real time data series.

Skills & experience:

You’ll need to have some experience as a data models analytics, mainly in real time, so experience as a Data Scientist is valued.

• Experience of mathematic real time models is valued. (R, SAS or Python statistic models)
• Experience XML, JSON, Python and scripting
• Some knowledge in networking, netconf models is valued
• AWS/Google BigData knowledge or experience is valued
