The Operations Strategy team is a relatively small team that reports directly to the Ops. Director. The team has the responsibility for implementing and delivering the "big rock" strategic projects for Operations. In the past years the team has overseen different cost saving projects, and also helped achieving major improvements in customer satisfaction across multiple facets of the business.

On the current project, the Operations Strategy Team works in close collaboration with our different operational areas (Monitoring, Customer Service, Field Maintenance & Commercial Operations) in KPI development, execution of improvement initiatives, and assessing financial impact from committed projects. The team also has the responsibility reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), identifying gaps to targets, and ensuring the different operational areas are driving improvements in case of deviations.

As a Strategic Consultant you will have an opportunity to gain valuable experience from the very heart of Europe's leading security company. You will be working closely with senior stakeholders & critical processes across the core functions within our organization. Team members interact with Directors on a daily basis and have regular exposure to C-level executives.

A major component of the work involves coordination between stakeholders. It is critical that candidates have experience working with complex projects and different management levels.

To be successful, you will need to have significant drive, an analytical mindset with the ability to anticipate risk, creatively resolve bottlenecks, and help the team to carefully manage the conflicting vectors of time, cost and schedule. You will be coordinating people who do not report to you and have other priorities, therefore softer interpersonal skills are of critical importance. Likewise, the ability to question and provide analytical insight whilst also supporting collaborators is essential. 

Main responsibilities

  • Work with the operational directors and teams to collate data, review status of initiatives and report progress against predefined goals.
  • Coordinate cross-team efforts spanning several functions and operational areas.
  • Flag and creatively solve bottlenecks and critical dependencies between projects.
  • Host workshops with relevant stakeholders to brainstorm ideas, challenge preconceptions and create improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze data to provide critical analysis to help support the prioritization of different projects and energy within t business.
  • Add a clear, logical and methodical structure to complex and chaotic work streams, teams and individuals.
  • Provide hands on support to other team members and to other functional teams in support of tight deadlines or resource constraints.
Requisitos

Minimum qualifications/ experience:

  • 3 to 5 years consulting experience, or equivalent experience in similar industries.
  • Experience managing people and collaborating in a team of people from different areas, under time and scope pressure in the delivery complex projects with high quality output.
  • Excellent organizational and top tier analytical skills.
  • Excellent senior stakeholder communication; ability to present findings both verbally and in writing, to both engineers and business leaders.
  • Fluency in Spanish essential. High level of English preferred.

  • Excellent business intuition, intellectual rigor, and pride in the ownership of complex tasks and projects
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills; strong bias towards data-based decision making
  • Confidence to deal with senior stakeholders under pressure and the adaptability to make compromises in politically challenging environments
  • Flexibility to learn, understand, and evaluate new concepts in unfamiliar functional areas (operational areas, finance, R&D, supply chain, marketing etc.)
  • A match to our culture — the successful candidate will have high energy and flexibility, fantastic communication skills (both written and verbal) and huge amounts of personal drive & ambition
  • Bachelor in Business Management, Industrial Engineering, or similar. MBA valuable
  • High level of Excel and PowerPoint required
