Our Product Technologists play an essential role in creating technologies that drive human progress. Using our in-depth product knowledge, we provide pre-sales technical expertise for the development and implementation of complex products, applications and solutions. We’re relied upon to deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations to sales staff and customers and provide technical input into bid proposals. We also assess the potential of products to meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

Based mostly at client’s site you will work with the most strategic accounts, translating the technical requirements into enterprise solutions. This will involve:

• Driving the technical discussions with customers to close and deliver the solutions and meet targets, engaging with other subject matter experts or services as necessary.
• Help with presentations and design and value of proposed Dell EMC solutions and business case to customers.
• Help with qualifying sales opportunities in the terms of customer technical requirements, competition, decision making process and funding.
• Contribute to an atmosphere of cross-functional teamwork within the organization’s agile project lifecycle.
• Delivering high-impact presentations at client facilities- Presents and markets the design and value of proposed Dell EMC solutions and business case to customers.
• Qualifies sales opportunities in the terms of customer technical requirements, competition, decision making process and funding.
• Becoming the technical knowledge resource for the sales department and identifying development areas in knowledge levels.

Essential Requirements

• Good understanding of servers, network and enterprise software.
• Demonstrated ability with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Perl, or Python
• Experience with provisioning configuration management such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible or similar technologies.
• Experience with provisioning containerization solutions such Docker, Mesos.
• Experience using Jenkins, GitLab, AWS Code Pipeline or other tools for pipeline automation.
• Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle; including CI and CD pipeline architecture and processes.
• Good understanding of network services such as DNS, HTTP, HTTPS SSH, FTP, DHCP, etc. and basic understanding of network routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP.
