The HP Barcelona site is the worldwide headquarter for HP's Graphic Arts Business. It hosts the businesses of HP Large Format Printing and the newly created HP 3D printing, having the responsibility for the Research and Development (R&D), Marketing and Operations for them. Join a creative and dynamic engineering IT team working for the leading edge printing technology!

The team you will be joining has contributed to the transformation towards a data-driven organization, by enabling the "source of the truth" reference within the organization and driving efficiency on the decision-making process across the organization. Agile, simplify and growth have been the primary pillars of inspiration of the team, always aligned with HP strategies and HP IT transformation programs. This team has been a reference to the continuous improvement of operational excellence, reactively adapting to constraints and leading to an efficient and positive team-working environment.

The selected candidate will be part of a multi-disciplinary team located in Barcelona but with strong collaborations with international locations.

Responsibilities

• Support in the analysis of new business requirements for a business intelligence platform
• Planning and backlog prioritization in coordination with the development team and business stakeholders
• Track development progress, prepare and present status updates to management
• Ensure end-to-end quality of the software delivery
• Build business intelligence prototypes for new reports or projects

Education and Experience Required:

• A student in 3rd or 4th Year of Engineering Degree (Ingeniería Superior)
• A software engineering background will be valued
• Available for at least 12 months as an intern

 Knowledge and Skills Required:

• Microsoft Office, mandatory to have advanced Excel skills. PowerBI knowledge will be highly valued
• Proven SQL knowledge. Capacity to write and analyze SQL statements
• Familiarity with data modeling and analysis and DB design
• Ability to learn quickly, take initiative and follow through
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Good interpersonal skills
