Main Responsibilities:

The Company is recruiting a Project Management with special focus on product/services development and cross IT deployments. The candidate will also act as country liaison between Business and IT in a multi-country environment.

Project Management

Responsible for:

• Prepare G1-G8 planning (stage-gate model).
• Manage and track progress of allocated teams.
• Ensure project plan is available and coordinate definition of project plan across all involved areas.
• Ensure that baselines are defined at each phase of the life cycle.
• Contribute to costs and load estimates.
• Set up project development plan.
• Manage the project's synchronization points, consistency between teams, resolving conflicts.
• Actively contribute in Change Approval Board (CAB) within the project scoped requirements.
• Manage the project risks (assessment and mitigation).
• Take actions to anticipate, avoid and resolve deviations from project plan.
• Review, report and forecast on project (e.g. budget evolution, budget usage, planning and content, process adherence, quality level, progress metrics).
• Arbitrate choices and conflicts within the project.
• Follow up non-conformities of project.
• Perform root cause analysis and suggest defect preventive actions at project level.

Resource Management

Responsible for:

• Evaluate other people's performance when allocated to the project(s).
• Represent Top Management providing expertise towards the project PMs (Internal or external)
• Supporting:
  • Areas to define training plans and skills development.
  • Areas to consolidate evaluation of engineers' performance on project(s) and, take necessary action in own competence, and follow-up implementation.
  • Project Team to manage allocated project resources to contribute to project goals and objectives.
  • Testing Office to request and follow up necessary testing equipment for entire project (lab, simulator…) as defined in the project test strategy.

Country Management

Responsibilities:

• Act as a SPOC for the country, consolidating the view of all on-going projects and initiatives
• Actively participate in monthly country board, preparing all support documentation (project scorecard, issue report, …)
• Ensure proper communication flows between Country business areas and IT, addressing all business request to the proper IT area.
• Keep tracking on business requests and its status.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree (IT/Telecoms engineering)
• 7-8 years of experience in Engineering projects (Phases, life cycles, metrics, methodologies)
• Fluency in English
• Detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate, to anticipate constraints and identify optimization or alternative solutions.
