We are recruiting a Service Engineer in our IT Business Platform Customer Management team.

Strategic context and Value proposition


Monitoring Station of Securitas Direct Spain is the biggest station in Europe, managing hundreds of thousands of security incidences every month, and protecting millions of businesses and homes. In our I.T. Business Platform we take care of performance, continuity and stability of technological services supporting such critical service for Monitoring Station in Spain, as well as France, Portugal, Italy, U.K., Chile, Brazil and Peru.

Service Engineer will work in a high performance team for technically guaranteeing stability and continuity of the most critical service of the company. This team has clear roles, effective processes and provides a great teamwork atmosphere. Applicant must be team-oriented, and must has strong technical skills.

  • System Administration
  • Follow-up the system performance in production
  • Deployment of the roll-outs and configuration on the business projects environments
  • Functional KPIs definition to measure the product systems updates
  • Provides periodic reports of KPIs to the platform managers
  • Problem user resolutions
  • User troubleshooting
  • Collaboration with the rest of IT teams in the stabilization of the platform project
Requirements Experiences and Qualifications Must have requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or Technician Education in Systems discipline
  • At least 3 years of provable experience in similar position
  • Advance level of Linux
  • Experience in Shellscript
  • Experience in Basic system administration of database: Sybase, MySQL and Oracle DB.
  • Experience in as a Application server administration (JBoss, Tomcat, Weblogic)
  • Experience in Log4j
  • Good level of English (spoken and written)
