Job Description

We are currently looking for three kinds of innovative professionals with strong strategic thinking and practical experience in: 

• Working capital initiatives from consulting firm or/and multinational company

• Purchase-to-pay process reengineering

• Order-to-Cash process reengineering

 All of them to cover positions at Managerial or Consultant levels in our Global Center of Excellence based in Barcelona. 

As a Working Capital expert, you will be expected to:

Lead and execute working capital optimization projects for all Working Capital components (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Inventory) with an end-to-end vision:

• Execute Working Capital assessment, identify gaps with leading practices, define business case & operational recommendations to drive working capital benefits.

• Develop work plan and identify savings leveraging a driver-based approach and industry benchmarking data.

• Drive Working Capital transformation initiatives with a focus on value realization and capabilities development sustainability applying innovative combinations of strategy, governance, and organization & process redesign and technology alignment.

• Manage operational reengineering efforts in policies, end-to-end process governance, organizational structure, performance measurement and reporting visibility, incentives programs, and technology alignment.

• Manage client relationship at executive and operational level throughout the various phases of the project. 

As a purchase-to-pay expert, you will be expected to:

Lead performance assessment for the end-to-end procure-to-pay process – from the emission of purchase request to the payment of supplier invoice - from a process efficiency, technology, data management, organizational, end-to-end governance perspective.

• Assess procure-to-pay process performance, identify process gaps with industry and geography leading practices

• Design recommendations taking into account business, industry, local constrains

• Define business case & road map for transformation

Drive process transformation/change management project into multinational companies and in complex environment (various locations, countries, systems) involving all functions involved in the end-to-end process.

Drive/Participate into procure-to-pay technology solution implementation (ie. e-invoicing, SRM, etc.)

As an Order-to-Cash expert, you will be expected to:

Lead performance assessment for the end-to-end Order-to-Cash process – from the definition of the credit policy to the cash receipt and application - from a process efficiency, technology, data management, organizational and end-to-end governance perspectives.

• Assess Order-to-Cash process performance, identify process gaps with industry and geography leading practices.

• Design recommendations taking into account business, industry and local constrains.

• Define business case & road map for transformation.

Drive process transformation/change management project into multinational companies and in complex environment (various locations, countries, systems) involving all functions involved in the end-to-end process.

Participate in Order-to-Cash technology solution implementation (i.e. credit management tool – Collection & Dispute Management system).

Design and participate to taskforce project to drive overdue payment reduction.

Job requirements:

• Minimum 3 year experience in any of these initiatives or processes in the industry and/or consulting firm and in a multicultural environment.

• Excellent knowledge of Working Capital components and how working capital initiatives can create value in an organization.

• Expertise into Credit Management/Account Receivable Leading practices in terms of processes, technology and organization.

• Expertise into Account Payables Leading practices in terms of processes, technology and organization.

• Proven track record in driving business outcomes and manage change in large international clients.

• High expertise in at least one of the following elements: Inventory optimization, Payment Terms extension, Collection/Dispute process optimization, Supply Chain Finance, Factoring, Credit Insurance, Credit Risk Management, Milestone payment optimization.

• Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills.

• Strong Workshop/meeting facilitation, negotiation, problem/issue resolution, and presentation skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, emphasis on teamwork and customer centric.

• A positive “can do” attitude and openness to innovation.

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Business required.

• Proficiency in English.

• Availability to travel multiple days per week.
