MISSION

We are seeking a Global PMO responsible to manage project planning, risks, dependencies, and different groups, to make things happen in order to meet the coming challenges for delivering AURA features to the different countries.

RESPONSABILITIES

• Main focal point with OB Programme Manager (OB PMO) 
• Project Status monitoring (Local planning aligned with Global Planning): identification and listing of local tasks, dependencies, delays, risks, mitigations… 
• Coordination tasks (Weekly Meetings, minutes, and action points). 
• Be sure that anything needed to task completion is done on time (follow teams to assure tasks are delivered)
• Support to end 2 end testing in OBs+Global Teams 
• Attend Weekly Meetings with Business Product managers to manage all topics with OBs
• Collaborates with stakeholders (PMOs, Business Product managers, Technical Product Managers, Deliver Managers and Service Managers) to achieve the goals defined in the roadmap: focus on Execution
• Manage an office team composed by a Delivery Manager and Service Manager
  

NATURE OF THE PROBLEMS

Complex planning and organization to drive product delivery (release of global product) in countries of Telefonica footprint of different nature.

Manage and conciliate dates, deadlines, and expectations, based on common resources, and evolution of different activities (tech, business, marketing, etc).

SPECIFIC SKILLS

• Product/Project Management experience: Roadmap execution, Programme Management & Launch in OBs (or big corps)
• Experience with Telefónica OBs
• Able to open doors and find the right key people to move things forward
• Planning Tools (MS Project, Redmine, JIRA, etc)
• Highly motivated, action-orientated, yet pragmatic approach within corporate environment
• Lean approach to SW development, Agile/SCRUM experience
• Energetic and enthusiastic, willing and able to cope with the demands of a global role 
• Innovation skills: passion, tolerance to ambiguity/uncertainty and strategic execution
  

TECH KNOWLEDGE

Experience working with the technologies bellow: 

• BOTs, cognitive services, AI
• Big data & analytics, data science technologies.
• Backend integrations through API or Web service

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• More than 5 years in Programme / Product roles

EDUCATION

• Education: B.Sc in Computer Science; Telecomms; Mathematics or any other similar field

LANGUAGES

• Spanish (highly proficient)
• English (highly proficient)
