Business Solutions Procurement organization manages sourcing and logistic solutions for more than 30 legal entities across the Globe. With a purchase volume of 300M€/year, our core activities are Managed WAN services, Satellites and Platforms.
Reporting to the CFO and to the Global CPO, The team is formed by 19 individuals based in Spain and the USA. We run our business with 3 groups of buyers:
• Equipment, Logistic & COMEX
• Network, IT & Platforms
We are seeking a talented head of Procurement to manage our relationship with the Services industry.
To organize, manage and control the Procurement activities related to Services in his territory according to the Global procurement model of the company, in order to generate efficiency and satisfy key stakeholders.
Main duties & responsibilities:
1. Organize efficient Sourcing for his product lines in his territory
a. Analyze product lines and market patterns to find opportunities for optimization
b. Manage a team of Expert Buyers that cover the perimeter
c. Insure all internal needs are addressed under TFCA normative
2. Manage yearly purchasing plan
a. map current stakeholders’ budgets into Procurement a Plan and strategy and follow up execution with his team
b. understand internal customer needs and expectation and support RFPs creation
c. Drive results based on KPIs: % of saving, % of conditioning, average time
3. Implement point of control to monitor the activity
a. Report on main KPIs to management
b. Insure contracts are documented and available for Audit and Intervention
c. Manage emission of orders to suppliers to meet the KPI.
4. Manage individuals placed under his direct responsibility
a. Define and review yearly objectives
b. Keep team motivated and focused on target
c. Address needs for training and carreer plan
d. Propose bonus and salary review
e. Manage holidays according to the necessity of the Dpt.
Nature of problems & challenges:
• Coordination with other areas for budget review and final award of business based on TCO
• Empower the Global Procurement Model. Vertebrate the purchases into a consistent plan and methodology. Guarantee transparent decisions on award of business
• Participate to EBITDA result. Deliver % of saving based on the result of his team. Promote efficiency plans to internal customers.

University Degree in economics. Master/MBA desirable
Ability to work in a team within a multicultural environment
Able to analyze client needs

Able to make decisions in complex situations
Able to perform under pressure
MS Office proficiency
Working knowledge of relevant ERP systems, e.g. SAP
5/7 years of experience in negotiating with services industry.
3/5 years of experience in team management.
In-depth knowledge of Telecommunications Regulations
