ASE Optics Europe is a dynamic company focused
on the development of custom optics and integrated optical systems. ASE Optics
Europe covers projects ranging from the design and construction of custom
optical lens systems to fully integrated optical systems such as OCT or laser
optical radar.

We currently have an opening for a C programmer
to complement our existing team. The successful candidate will be involved in a
project for the hardware control of one of our next developments. We are
looking for an ANSI C99 (no C++ required) programmer with interests in hardware
control, system design, libraries development, system assembling with a variety
of hardware devices. We are looking for a motivated individual to work in a
multi-disciplinary team. The candidate should be proficient in ANSI C99, and
will work with the National Instruments LabWindows/CVI IDE (Integrated
Development Environment). Experience with highly-structured programming and
complex data structures representation will be a plus. Knowledge and experience
in hardware-control API (Application Programming Interface) libraries will also
be a plus. The selected candidate will benefit from growing with a team with senior
optical engineers and imaging scientist and be expected to have a high level of
independence and initiative.

Required skills:

• Good knowledge of structured programming with ANSI C99 programming language
• Knowledge of State Machines theory
• Knowledge of the hardware systems control set-up and calibration
• Good use of English and/or Spanish

• Contract duration: 4 months
• Candidate level: Bachelors or equivalent
